My complaint:
Hello,
I am a disabled senior citizen stuck in my home due to in climate weather. Each time I attempt to purchase my groceries. When I try to select EBT SNAP method of payment. I can’t click on it or place my order. The message that appears is: Not available at this location today. The LaGrange Park Jewel is closest to me.
If I were using a credit card or debit card my purchase can be made. This is blatant discrimination to individuals and families on fixed incomes anecwh have lower incomes.
Suggested solution:
The State\'s that provide EBT SNAP aren\'t aware that these purchases are nit going through.
Solution fixrepair your online method of payment online to accept all EBT SNAP payments. This was my second attempt to shop at Jewel in the past week.
This needs to be addressed ASAP or you will be reported to Instacart, State of Illinois that issues EBT SNAP and the Chicago news media.
People should be able to purchase groceries at Jewel just like at any other grocery chains. Do you realize there are people and families with shortages of food.
