My complaint:
I shopped at Jewel yesterday. I walked by two employees talking, one swearing frequently. It caught my attention. The employee was complaining that nothing was being done to keep the employees safe and employees could come into work with a fever and no one would know.
I asked another employee who said employees had the option of getting there temperature taken but no one does.
This is the same store where the manager has walked around with a neck mask on with it pulled below his mount.
Suggested solution:
Covid is spiking. All stores should not be taking it so cavalierly. Does it take a bunch of people ending up in the hospital for them to pay attention? The store should take all employee temperatures on entering the store for work. It should be mandatory. If employees will not accept getting their temperature taken then they should not be allowed to work.
