My complaint:
My 11 year old son just turned Playstation off, put the input mode back on Dish television, and the first thing we hear is what the buck. I was so mad and beside myself that (especially a commercial for something so mild mannered) this company chose such an inappropriate means to market. The adult play on words is inappropriate for anyone, especially my 11 year old child. They may as well have just said what the words play on. It is really not even a matter of adult appropriate.
It is just simply vulgar, and vulgarity is really not an age or maturity thing. Actually it is immature and more of a ill-mannered issue. I am a grown adult, and I do not use that language. More so, you don’t even have a warning. At least if I was watching an R-rated station, I could expect or anticipate something like that, but…It plays, and by the time you hear it (or feel your ears turn red), it is already said. Shane on Jackson Hewitt and their poor marketing director, and the allowance of this. They just lost my business forever. Smooth move marketing.
Suggested solution:
Learn some manners, dignity, common sense, get your head out of the gutter, grow up, show some respect, have some self-respect, thing about others (especially children), wise up, smarten up, then jump off a bridge.
