My complaint:
The What the Buck commercial is likely a combination of a sophomoric account executive and a company desperately look for a way to gain as much attention as possible. Two problems: (1) The phrase is derived from a vulgarity. (2) Although the word used may actually be buck, that’s not how not sounds. And kids are watching. To borrow one of your words: Some people will do anything for a buck.
Suggested solution:
Pull the commercial.
