My complaint:

I have ordered from Smart Foods in Lodi since I began having Instacart deliver my groceries. I’d held off ordering from Save Mart in case my daughter, who I hadn’t seen in two years arrived at my home on October 24 and wanted to add items. That afternoon we made an sat down to make the order. It took a good 45 minutes to enter the list of items totaling about $80.00. When I went to check out Instacart said this store is not available in your area. I thought Imust have made a mistaqke and tried again only to receive the same message. I called Instacart but whoever I talked with appeared not to know what I was talking about After about f;ive minutes I told him to forget it, I’d call back Monday. The operator I talked with on Monday said Instacart did not deliver from Save Mart in Lodi. I asked where in Lodi I couldorder groceries. She said Smart and Final so my daughter and I made out an experimental partial list to Smart and Final to make sure it would be delivered. I received the same message this store is not available in your area. On Tuesday we put on our N95 masks and went to Smart Foods to get groceries.

I and 81 years old with a myriad of conditions including diabetes and have taken great steps not to shop in person. I am very upset that my daughter and I spent hours for three days during her six day visit trying to resolve this. I drove her to the airport on October 30th.

Suggested solution:

Is there a grocery store in Lodi? If I cannot get deliveries from a grocery store in Lodi my membership will not be cost effective and I would like to cancel it.
