My complaint:
I open an account on IMVU 09/18/2023. I used a male name to create male clothes, hoping for a better profit. I’ve been doing this for 7 years with my other account. I also changed my avatar name because I misspell it. Still I was using my bank card and sometimes prepaid cards. The prepaid card I used my avatar name onetime. On October 13, 2023 they put a temporary hold on my account, late at night around 11pm est., right after I purchased credit and left an email to contact them to verify myself. I called them the next morning, talked to a Michael in CS. We went through the full verification process with full birth name, birth date, address, verification of my credit cards with my name on it, my husband card which we share the same account. After staying online with the cs rep, he said I need to have my husband call so they can ask him questions. So my husband and I called IMVU. Customer Support. The person we spoke to verified me again and verified my husband. After being on the phone for over a hour again, the rep educated me on using one card with my name only, even after my husband said it’s ok for me to use his card. After everything, the cs said I need to submit a selfie..with my government ID. I told the CS I refuse to give you all my Gov ID, because I was a victim of identity theft and I gave all my information,. He kept saying he understood. I got off the phone to closed my account permanently only to find out the fully blocked my account. My account is blocked, but you can still purchase my male clothes. At this point, I want that account closed. What can I do?

I want them to close the account. They are still profiting off my account. I want it close.
