My complaint:

(1) On June 30th I bought a new Huawei Mateview Gt 27 Gaming Monitor from PC Express. (2) On July 25th I turned my PC on and was watching a video when the screen went completely black in the center (3) I immediately took it to PC Express. They contacted Huawei to which Huawei said they would check it out so I furnished them all the receipts I had from PC Express (4) the salesman at PC works told me it looked as if there had been pressure applied to the screen to which I replied no person is allowed in my office but me and when I was viewing the screen I was sitting 2 to 3 feet from the monitor (5) Huawei picked up the monitor the next day and provided me with reference number 2998304 (6) After 7 days and no word from Huawei I contacted Huawei by phone only to be told they had not yet analyzed the problem and would have a manager call me and to stand by my phone. After 24 hours I called again and talked with another representative for 45 minutes explaining again what happened and he said he would have a manager call me. after 2 days I received a message (not from a manager) informing me they received my unit and its void warranty due to internal crack and the repair would cost 12,461 pesos plus an additional 900 pesos for labor and did I want them to proceed with the repair. I told them No to please return my unit to me and I will just buy a new one as the cost for repair was almost as much as I paid for the new one less than a month earlier (5) I as a consumer am 100% positive that there was no damaged done to this monitor by me and if the crack was internal I can assure you the unit was not tampered with and the unit had no physical damage on the exterior when I returned it for inspection (6) It is not the monetary value I am complaining about it’s the service so soon after the purchase and you should know there are products made that sometimes break without anyone being the blame. (7) I appeal to your good judgment to either fix my unit or replace it as there was no misuse of this monitor by me within the 3 weeks I had it in my possession. (8) Please understand I have no complaints with the service center nor its representatives as I believe they were working with me in good faith, they just made a mistake it was not a human error (9) I would appreciate you considering where I am coming from and hopefully will render a judgment in my favor. Thank you.

Suggested solution:

I am requesting the repair or replacement of my unit. I really like this monitor as I choose it over several major brands.
