My complaint:

After HSBC announced its decision to leave the US market and all existing retail banking customers would be forcefully transitioned to Citizens Bank, I moved my account to another bank as I did not opt into using Citizens Bank. The following month I began to notice overdraft fees that are compounded due to non-payment. I didn’t receive any billing mail and was unaware of these charges. I tried to dispute the charges but HSBC has a permanent on-hold support call where it’s impossible to file a proper dispute.

Suggested solution:

I believe that HSBC's last parting shot to the customers they are dropping is strategically set to skim off money in overdraft fees. The transition to Citizens Bank should've been optional and the accounts should've been frozen to avoid kickback overdraft fees.
The illegal overdraft fees catches those of us who thought our accounts were already closed unaware and every fee overdraft transaction should be refunded. Also, there is no way to close out any credit cards associated with the banking accounts without gaining access to HSBC rep support which is impossible via Chat or phone!!!
