My complaint:
In July of 2020, I dropped off all original copies of 2 years of joint tax returns which my ex husband file did for us the past 2 years. I dropped off my business forms, student loan tax information and W2 forms for 2 jobs I worked in 2020. I was forced to leave my apartment due to unable to pay rent and when I followed up several times with H R Block in La Quinta, the stated You are not in the system. Baffled, I sent a follow-up email to the office location. Again, it was not resolved or explained where all of my documentation had disappeared to. I have been a US citizen and worked since I was 15 years old, filing a tax return in CA every year and in FL from 2001-2004. I am appalled at this kind of mistake and am now receiving fake IRS calls. I have been a victim of identity theft and have the sinking feeling that somehow they are involved in this debacle.
Suggested solution:
IMMEDIATE RESOLUTION TO AVOID CRIMINAL ACTION or ADVERSE ACTION which has already affected me and my family.
