My complaint:

I’ve been with HP for a number of years now and had an issue with being overcharged with HP previously. Today I had noticed they (yet again); overcharged me.

I signed up to their free one month offer on the 16th May 2023; which came with a 700 page limit at no cost. Today, on the 14th June; I’ve noticed that my account no longer displayed the offer; despite (supposedly) still being in a free trial. I called HP up and was told their billing cycle is up to the end of each month and was basically told that although I had a free month, it was only free for two weeks. This was obviously false advertising as I had signed up to a free month trial. Since when has a month been two weeks?!

HP is a disgusting company that loves to be sneaky by overcharging people and giving fake offers. In fact, the internet is full of bad reviews about HP Ink overcharges.

If the company actually lived up to their promises; I wouldn’t mind paying a measly £6; but what I don’t agree with is giving a company money when they have been so sneaky and engaging in false advertising.

They did credit me with an extra month trial (but again only a few weeks due to their billing cycle), but once this is finished, I shall be throwing my HP printer away and be purchasing Canon. I’m sure their ink subscription is better.

Suggested solution:

Never satisfied. They are a bunch of thieving maggots.
