My complaint:
I checked into the hometown studios on March 9th approximately 1:00 p.m. and the minute I walked in that door! I saw a bug on the table and behind the toilet as well as the walls being covered in some sort of looks like hopefully just soda but who knows it was atrocious!! I was too afraid to even sit down. I immediately contacted Priceline to inform them of the situation and to do whatever needed to be done to cancel the reservation and make management aware of exactly how bad the room was! Told me that he called the property and spoke to someone and they said that their manager was not available until the following morning and for me to take pictures of the room and email them to him and everything was taken care of not to worry! I called the following morning and spoke to the front desk supervisor who was absolutely no help she told me it was my fault for not coming down to the office and canceling it myself although I did not make the reservation in person I did it through Priceline whom I assumed I should do the cancellation through!!! Had I have known that I needed to go down to the front desk to inform them in person that I wasn’t going to be staying after I just spoke to Priceline who said that they were going to do that for me I would have! It’s common sense, of course I would have!! Now because the hotel has no surveillance system or any way to track phone calls or any form of communication amongst each other I can’t prove whenif I left other then Priceline’s record of my phone call to them. Priceline says that the hotel charged my card so they will be who’s responsible for the refund. The hotel is saying they have no record or proof of me actually leaving other then the phone call from Priceline informing them that I left! As a former manager I know there are strict policies about investigating the issue and problem solving however no one is willing to take responsibility nor give me a refund! I’m not going to just throw my hands up and say oh well and lose$ when I know I did everything right!!

Someone owes me a full refund! The hotel actually charged my card but I made the reservation through Priceline! The hotel needs to reevaluate their housekeeping staff and set some standards because I was appalled and disgusted even almost offended! I didn\'t use any amenities, and didn\'t touch anything, I was too afraid to. I was told by Priceline it was taken care of. Any other time I\'ve had an issue with reservationshotel I\'m told to take it to whatever third party I used to book the room! That hotel shouldn\'t be in business, it was awful! Not only should they refund my$ but they need to be investigated by the health department!! I feel like I\'ve been cheated and taken advantage of!! I will not stop pursuing this issue until it\'s been resolved! I just want my money back because I never stayed!! Why or how is it that difficult to understand?! Put yourselves in my shoes, wouldn\'t you want your money back too?!?!? I will be posting pictures asap!!
