My complaint:
I have been with Homebridge mortgage for over a year. I have never had a late payment. Homebridge is reporting my acct late for July. Nations Lending advised me that I didt have to make a payment because they loan would have been paid off on 0730. However when i called I was told that the payoff was not made as of 0730 so i made the payment on 0731, I called in on 0807 to inquire about my loan overpayment, payoff and credit reporting and i was advised by the rep that Homebridge allows a 1 day grace period after the 30th to make the payment before it’s reported to the credit bureaus. I made my payment on 0732 so why is it reporting late. The late payment will dramaticlly affect my credit and I really can’t afford for this to happen. Bad enough we’re dealing with COVID 19 and hours and work being reduced. The purpose of me doing the refinance was to save me money so that my credit would not be affected. Please Help!
