My complaint:
After I had already cancelled the handyman service that was originally agreed on, This guy from Home Advisor shows up at my house to do the work…so I let him do these rather small electrical and plumbing jobs which he did not complete to my satisfaction. He told me he would finish the work but he never did. I made the mistake of mentioning to him that I needed my roof reshingled and he tols me he could do the and had experience. He said he could save me money so I took him at his word. $14500 later (I have all the documentation) and I was told by my regular contractor that it would have to be completely redone. The roof would be lucky to last a year. The Home advisor con artist never did complete the work….he even feft many of his tools here and has not been able to be contacted since March 23.
Suggested solution:
I do not know at this point what the new roofing costs will be yet but I would like to get every cent back that I paid the charlatan con man....HIRED THROUGH HOME ADVISOR! There are even more details but I can get to them later if you can help me.
