My complaint:

I was shopping with my mother at the Crosspoint Coventry store and when we went to pay for our goods my mother forgot that she had an item to return. When my mother mentioned she needed to return something I said you should have said before they started scanning your shopping. My mother then said to the man serving excuse I have an item to return to which she was ignore, my mother then repeated this for a second time for him to reply whilst not looking I heard you the first time you don’t need to say again. I then advised that he should have acknowledged my mother for him to say well I can’t deal with returns, i’m getting someone
When a lady came over to assist with the return the male serving said she needs to return something and they’ve got a complaint. I then advised to the woman there was no complaint and my mother also said the same but I then went onto explain how the male could have handled the situation a bit better by acknowledging my mother. Once the return was resolved, the male continued to scan items but at a quick pace that my mother could not keep up packing them into her carrier bag. When my mother had paid for her goods and said Thank you he dropped her receipt on the bagging area and looked in the opposite direction.
I was then serviced after my mother with no conversation at all and items scanned and slid down the bagging area.
My receipt reference 100822 12@31 Till 6 SOREN N 851815
My mothers would have been a few minutes before this.

Suggested solution:

The person serving to know what good customer service is.
