My complaint:

I deposited and amount of R300 to my hollywoodbets account using ozow from my capitec bank account and the funds did not reflect as usual. The time of the deposit was approximately 00:35 on the 1st of April 2024 and at 00: 41 I went on the hollywoodbets chatting platform to query why the funds were not reflecting and a consultant who goes by the name Asanda J advise that the delay could be the banks being offline at the time of the deposit and that I should wait atleast 1 hour for the system to update and to query again if the funds are not reflecting and i was even given a reference number 21965720 for following up, I followed up the next day and was told to get proof of payment from my bank which I did ask for and was told by my bank that I could not get because the payment was an eft instant payment and that the proof of payment has to be requested of which I did and still waiting for as I’m typing this complaint. What bothers me is hollywoodbets asking me to wait to 48 hours every time I do a follow up and it’s always a new consultant, I have spoken to 9 different consultants and each and every one of them says please allow 24 to 48 hours and I’ve been waiting for more than 48 hours already
