My complaint:
I had a prepaid package that I purchased last year from Hilton Grand Vacations. It was a 3 night stay for either Las Vegas or Florida. At the time of booking I chose Las Vegas and they advised that if i chose elsewhere, it is possible to change location. I ended up going local, and chose a booking in Hampton Inn, San Clemente. The customer rep that helped me was Jaedyn Forshaw. She ed the dates of 129-1212. I had arranged to take a personal time off from work as well. My son too who was coming with me, arranged with his supervisor at his work to take time off. I received a ation email from Jaedyn that everything is set and ed. I have the ation on the email. Today came and I was excited to go. We were running late because of circumstances that arose at home. We drove there at night, it is still 2 hours drive. When we got to the lobby and registration desk, the lady asked for my name and I provided it. She asked for my payment of $450 and I told her that i have prepaid this stay. I showed her my ation from HGV email. She said it doesn’t matter if i have the ation but if it doesn’t show in her system, regarding this prepaid pckg, then i still have to pay. I tried to call the 1888 provided by Jaedyn in the email, however it was outside the time frame of their working hours. I was so mad. How can this HGV rep screw me over. What a waste of time, energy, gas, personal time off- for both me and my son. We were so angry and disappointed. We had no choice but to drive back home another 2 hours…i will never ever do this HGV invtations ever again – what a scam!!!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK. please return my money!!!!!
