My complaint:

I was cashing out at register 003 on July 16th 2023 at 12:28am, Ashlyn who was bagging for cashier 0108, inappropriately was talking to another employee about her personal life. At the end of the conversation she turned to my 6 year old daughter and said “that’s why you listen to your parents and do not do drugs”. I raised my voice to Ashlyn and said “do not talk like that to my daughter, that is very inappropriate!” . I was mortified .. as I looked around to the other employees that heard (about 3-4 of them) they all looked to the ground like they didn’t want to get involved. I have personally worked in retail for over 6 years and I would have NEVER imagine talking about my personal life to my co worker in front of any customer… young or old. Saying what she said to my underage daughter was completely uncalled for! My daughter does not need to hear the word “drugs” ESPECIALLY in a family grocery store.

Suggested solution:

An apology and talk to employee so it doesn’t ever happen again!
