My complaint:
I placed a photo on my profile which Grindr suggested was inappropriate and ‘sexually suggestive’. I accept that to a point. That point being that Grindr is littered with sexually suggestive profile photos. From men in jock straps with bulges, bare behinds and revealing underwear. When I raise this issue with Grindr I get the same copy and paste excuse relating to my profile photos only. It’s utterly unfair and shows that Grindr doesn’t actually care about its members or their concerns or their equality. I have logged this complaint with complaint.biz and will take it to social media, too.
Suggested solution:
Allow my photo as it is minor compared to 90% of the other profile photos. Or ban revealing photos across the platform.
