My complaint:

Several transactions should never have gone pending on my account, Yet the guy called Jason at Corporate (he said he managed the entire corporate office and there was no one above him (obviously a lie). He didn’t listen to a word I said. Had an attitude like he enjoyed messing with me and ultimately hung up on me. He couldn’t provide an answer as to why money was taken out of my account and put into pending and he wasn’t willing to go find the answer. He just said, I don’t know why. I have no answer for that. Sorry we took hundreds of dollars out of your available balance we’ll release them on the 18th. That’s in a week and it’s already been a week. He had a cocky prideful, careless attitude and obviously did NOT have any concern about anyone finding out which calls into question the entire company and culture at GREEN DOT BANK.

Justified complaint?

Suggested solution:

At the bare minimum they should help me understand why their system did what it did and why they can't put the money back in my account that should never have been taken out to begin with. That would be if they only sucked at customer service. A Good company that is ethical moral and honest should put the money back in my available balance.
