My complaint:
I bought prepaid visas because I don’t like to put my debit online anywhere I opened it assuming I can use it right away because I paid cash right away well it says oh we’re happy to let you know in two weeks you’ll get your card with your name on it then you’ll be able to use it well I’ve never been through a situation like this in 58 years not only was I not able to use the $25 card at all cuz they took it all in fees my $75 card went all the way down without being able to use that one either fees I didn’t use any of the cards for anything I got screwed at all that money then the car did come with my name on it and it kept getting declined I went for gas declined online declined because it was reloadable I was still safe they didn’t have my debit card and I just kept getting pushed around automated couldn’t talk to a real person didn’t have a corporate or headquarter number and they only have one star and it’s a scam and I want my money back that’s what I’m heading for a refund there are many bad reviews about Green Dot I found out after the fact thinking I paid cash at that moment then having to wait two weeks later they should shut the bank down for screwing people over it’s not fair at all I have two cards that are useless sitting here and I’m on disability with COPD lung disease hoping you can help me this Bank does not need to be in business hurting people like this

I want the money I put out for the cards and wasn't able to use any transactions if I use the transaction I would minus that I didn't use any money on both cards I wasn't able to use $1 out of $100 no transactions by me were made it kept getting declined gas declined anywhere I went decline declined then I called back and they said it's because you have to have your name on the card well then I was patient enough to wait my name came on the card and it's just a scam and I'm not the only one when I read the reviews they're horrifying and at that point it's like your back is up against the wall
