My complaint:
Ipurchased a green dot debit card to my my bills online. i registered the card and made one noline purchase was charged 9.95 for my acct by green dot and that were the first transactions. the next time i tried to make a purchase online my card was declined green dot told me my card had been limited to in store purchases onlybevause my identity couldnt be verified even though i had already signed up for the mobile app, charged by green dot 9.95 for the acct and have an actuall bank acct through go2bank which green dot owns. i cant withdraw mony money stillin the acct i cant make purchases online andi cant even transfer my balance to my go 2bank acct which is owned by green dot i live in a rural area and its not a quick easy way to make in store purchases we order most of our mood and necessity’s so i have money in an acct basically have no access to unless imin town over a hour away.
Suggested solution:
allow me to transfer my remain balance of the prepaid debit card.
