My complaint:

Green Dot Bank is holding customers funds. I had a direct deposit date of 14 for my stimulus payment. I received a notification of this and then ed with a Green Dot agent. She told me I would be receiving one. Still haven’t got it. They’re just telling me they don’t have visibility on incoming deposits and to check the IRS. I tell them time and time again that I did. The IRS said I should’ve received it by now. The agents act like they have no idea what I’m talking about when I have proof of the 14 date. They also told me that they were having processing delays for deposits. However, they act like they didn’t say that either. The customer representatives have shown no empathy. And rather than communicating with their customers, Green Dot is leaving those affected by whatever is going on in the dark. They opened a new bank instead of focusing on the many issues customers are having. The funny thing is the bank they opened is for low income customers but they fail to realize that by holding stimulus payments is affecting the people who need it most. I regret coming to Green Dot. I may be evicted and they could care less.
