My complaint:
On 924 I finally received months of unemployment into my green dot bank account. Immediately they placed a block on my account for suspicious activity. I called them Immediately and was asked to email my driver license front and back to verifymydocs@greendotcorp.com. I did just this then called back in one hour. I also emailed a selfie while holding my license showing its me. They told me my account will be closed because my license is fictitious and to get my money I need to have michigan unemployment write a letter with my account number and various other information requesting the fund be returned. I called michigan unemployment and was to they will not do this because green dot bank accepted the deposit into my open account and closed it afterwards. That green dot bank would have to return the funds. I called green dot bank back and tried to explain this. The rudly hung up on me 11 times and said they would not do this. I asked what happens to my money and they said it will stay there until they can put it into unclaimed money. This is out of control and they have stolen $7000 of mine and the state of michigans

Reopen my account immediately and let me withdrawal my money then close my account
