My complaint:

I had max tax refund put on a Turbo Tax Prepaid Debit Card so that if it was lost or stolen it would be insured against losses, especially since I am disabled and do not handle cash well. My card was skimmed by thieves and they took $2500 out of my account. I made a claim the day after the card was skimmed and found out from my guardian office, he is an attorney and his investigator checked out the loss so we could report it to the guardian court, that there was a skimmer used. I filed a complaint and theft claim and Green Dot arbitrarily denied it. Why do we pay fees if not for protection. I am having my guardian sue them if they do not replace the stolen funds.
