My complaint:
I received my DD money through this company they blocked and closed my accounts then asked me to verify my identity I did that they unlock it then locked it again. I had to repeat this several times and now they won’t send me my money out my accounts saying my granter has to reverse it back to me but my granter saying they aren’t allowing them to reverse their payments to me because the accounts are closed Greendot keep telling me they can’t do anything about my money but my money is still in their bank account and keep saying my Granter must request a refund of my money but they can’t because the accounts are closed I spoken with several people online and on the numbers they have given me concerning the return of my money from my accounts some say since it’s been closed I will receive a check of my balance then some say contact my grantors and request a refund of my money but that’s impossible because my grantors unable to reverse the payments because Greendot won’t allow access to my accounts for them to request a return of funds they been doing this for 3 weeks and keep doing and saying the same thing .I looked up their reviews and noticed they have been doing the exact same thing to thousand of people refusing to release their money and telling them the same thing as me they have over $9100 of my money and won’t refund or reverse my money back!!!
Suggested solution:
They should mail my check out with the total amount that's left in my accounts or release my money back to my grantors so they can reverse my payments back to them so they can send my money to my new account or mail me a check it's impossible for my money to be refunded or reverse if the accounts are closed my money is still in the Greendot Bank they will let you check it online but not on the app but they ask you to login into your app to Access the complaint forum . I would like for them to reverse my money back to the grantor or mail me out a check of my total amount just that simple if my accounts are closed what's the problem with returning my money by check or reverse it back from the originator so they can get my money to the right place!!!
