My complaint:
On 2 October I deposited $400 via a MoneyPak card. On 3 October I discovered that Green Dot had blocked my card for unusual activity. I followed their instructions and submitted a picture of my Florida ID card. It was rejected as illegible. Since then I have submitted over 50 pictures using all kinds of lighting and cameras. All have been rejected as illegible. I have even submitted photos of my ID to verifymydocs@greendotcorp.com with the same response.
According to the drones in customer service, there is no alternative method to verify my identity. Although it’s only $400, I’m 73 and an insulin independent diabetic. I need that money for meds.
Suggested solution:
I want Green Dot to unblock my account IMMEDIATELY so I can get my money and close my account FOREVER.
