My complaint:
I walked into goodwill thrift store this morning. Looking for a car seat and a stroller to help someone out. When I got in there, there was one sitting right there. However, the car seat was priced at a $100. I asked for a manager and to see if she could take the price down to $30. I have a young lady who’s in a situation that she just had a baby premature. But she doesn’t have any help. Me being the help that I try to be. Show her pictures of the baby and explain to her. That she needed help. I cannot afford a $100 and being that it’s goodwill. I thought that she would understand and want to help me with the situation. But how worse to me were? Do you know how much this cost? And I shouldn’t even marked it down that low Somebody else’s buy it. We don’t bargain here. It blowed my mind what she said. I told her we should be a blesaimg to others. She said the price is a blesaing. I left it at that because I knew I could afford it. I’m very heartbroken at what took place at the goodwill today. Been a person who shops here almost ever week. I shop so much I should work there. The point is to treat other the way we want to be treated. This was so wrong on ever level. Kinda make you feel bad for shopping at Goodwill.
Suggested solution:
If it's still there I think someone should call and have it sold to me for the price of $30 to Bless this young lady with. It's an act of kindness
