Golden Chick complaint: Unpleasant dining experience

My complaint:

We are at the restaurant in Brownwood,Texas on August 12, 2021. My wife ordered the piece even roasted chicken and was given a thigh instead of a breast. They brought her a fried breast because they were out of oven roasted. She didn’t get a roll so they brought one to her. I ordered spicy chicken tenders which had no spice at all. I ordered potatoes and gravy. The tender batter was very hard and the gravy was so thin it could be drank or sucked through a straw. Our ticket number was 20084 and the cost of this awful meal was $14.69. We started to go to Popeyes and I wish we had. The employees were hollering at each other and one was sitting at a table talking to a customer and then followed her outside to talk. One lady who had been waiting in the drive thru came in the building because they had forgotten about her sitting out there. Overall a disaster of a dining experience and total waste of our money. We are retired and don’t have money to waste.

Suggested solution:

I believe we should be given a voucher for a free meal to make up for this awful experience. This restaurant needs a management change as well as some new employees who know and care about serving good food to the public.
