My complaint:
Everything about the Steak and gravy pie was atrocious, The puff pastry cooked on the top OK but the rest was soggy and disgusting. The filling just about filled a table spoon.
Suggested solution:
I believe that any meat pie shall have a 50% content of an edible meat and offal filling, no sinew, bone or grissle, just lean meat. The pastry should be able to be cooked consistently right through and not require blind baking.
Frey Bentos pies have been around forever and I just thought I may try one but sadly first impressions will mean I will never try one again as there are too many better options around. My wife's meat pies are far better, I mean superb,
