My complaint:
On the 8th August I was one off a group off 8 that had booked a one night spa. On arriving the receptionist told us the swimming pool was closed due to a leak that we should have received a phone call at 8am that morning. Which. never happened. We sat down to have a drink by the bar it took 30 minutes for the waiter to serve us. we noticed other golfers on tables got served before us. The waiterwaitress service was terrible the whole day. food brought out with no cutlery. No system seemed to be in place. Then at 6pm we couldn’t order cocktails because the blender was broke. At 8.30 it was are time for dinner, we didnt actually get are order taken for 40 minutes and the food arrived at 10pm . We got out off the restaurant at 11.45 so missed out to sitting outside with the fires on.The service in there was disgusting also. The spa, massage was fine as other treatments were not available due to the virus. After that we didnt get explained that there was another treatments next because I wasn’t given an itinerary so my friend and I went down to the pool. No lifeguard on duty to tell us we were there at the wrong time and we wondered were the others were. They were having feet and leg massages. And a demonstration on creams. The assistant told us to come back the next day because we had missed out , but when we went went back all we got was the demonstration off a facial to sell the creams. What a total nightmare.I had been looking forward to this for weeks.
Suggested solution:
New staff or better organisation and training put in place. More than one blender. All the staff need training for information on the hotel .
