My complaint:
I have for the last year bitterly complained about the shelf life date on milk being very misleading. The milk is most often curdled or sour at least five days before the sell by date. While store managers are always willing to offer a replacement, that is not helpful. I want the milk to last at least 2 days before the date on the carton …..or amend the expected shelf life to a realistic date. Apparently your milk supplier is fraudulently misrepresenting the shelf life. Since you have been unable to fix this problem following previous complaints, I have filed a complaint with the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. I think the media might also be interested in this issue.

They need to work with their milk supplier to provide a more accurate shelf life for their milk. The supplier is ripping off Food Lion and it is being passed on to your customers. The supplier is basically selling old milk!!!
So true, ive had the same problem in dunn nc food lion milk going bad several days before , best buy date .I goto pour in coffee or cereal and once i get a whiff its over and food lion shouldnt have to eat the cost neither should i.
