My complaint:
I was Guaranteed 30- 40 hours at this Foodlion. I just goit married and me and my wife had been living in a shed because we could not afford anything else. When I first started here, at my interview , we talked about our hours and they said that I was Guaranteed 30- 40 hours and at 6-7 hours a day. I have not received what they have promised and every time I ask for more hours Chris would say that they only give those hours to people that deserve them, not to people that need them
. We aren’t even making enough to pay 400.00 in rent monthly and I believe I am one of the ones that need it. Also I have been harassed by a fellow worker and when I went to the Manager Mike he Said Why don’t I just tell him to Shut the Fuck Up instead of trying to handle the situation he basically told me to stand up for myself and talk crap back. I do not believe that it was handled properly or professionally at all , the only way I could get some peace from Javory was because another employee stepped in on my behalf and talked t Javory about bulling me. Now I know for a fact I have a lawsuit . But I do not want to take it that far. I would just ;like the hours I was promised in the beginning so I do not have to kill myself getting another job. I want to be able to support my wife by being able to pay me rent. I may not be perfect but when i do clock in I do my job.
Suggested solution:
I would just like the latter I would like 35 hours aweek as promised.
