My complaint:
We had booked a return ticket from flair airlines, reference number MP9TTY
The ticket was Abbotsford to Winnipeg on August 5, 2021 and return on August 15, 2021
The flight scheduled on August 5th was cancelled by the airline few hours prior to the flight and when we tried to contact the airline to get an alternative ticket, nobody responded to the email or answered the phone. We were on hold for continuous 4 hours because it was very important for us to travel the same day due to a scheduled meeting with lawyer. We had to cancel lawyers meeting for which we got charged of $250 penalty for cancellation. All the other airline flights were very expensive, so we had to cancel our trip and we did not travelled.
Suggested solution:
The airline should refund us the whole ticket price of $390 plus additional $500 for the mental and financial stress we've been through. I can be contacted at 604-763-1620
