My complaint:
The young cashier black girl became angry after my 8 year old son purchased his items before I could give correct change. When I offered to give change on the dollar she became upset yelling telling me she can’t do it. I said it was okay she called the manager Nemo and I was explaining it’s fine just give my son his change. She insisted she got in trouble prior for doing what I wanted to do taking correct change after the fact so my words to her were”it’s fine give my son his change but what happens if the register breaks down and you can not add/subtract properly?” I was then referred to as a disrespectful old hoe! She wanted to come from behind the counter and fight me so I told her come on I’m not afraid. She got more upset because my items were together and I told her they were on separate transaction. She acted like she wanted to fight me so at this point she made her mind up she wanted to fight so my words to her were I’m not going to argue with you I have a child your age but if you wanna fight come on I’m not scared of you. The manager rung my transaction up. Then she still talking and cursing. I frequent this store often I have lived in the neighborhood over 15 years and have seen a lot of cashiers come and go and individuals like her are the reason the store has less customers who wants to deal with attitudes from the cashier. If you’re that angry STAY HOME because that’s your job if you can not do it effectively choose another profession. I refuse to spend my money there if she is at the store I’ll turn around and go else where and I don’t have a problem telling others not to shop because of this young lady..
Suggested solution:
Teach their cashiers to be more professional or put them in the stockroom if they can’t deal with people..
