My complaint:

I have lived in the Ben Hill Community for over 15 years. The city has seen a fair share of transitions with the overall care of our neighborhood. However, the eye sore of Family Dollar 10677 is growing immensely. There are consistently homeless and addicts plaguing the Family Dollar property who throw their trash and bottles on the grounds, store their belongings as though they live there (i.e. shoes, wheelchairs). The store’s dumpster is poorly managed. There is trash from the parking lot to the edge of the street which I have photos of. The trash has been there for at least 2 weeks or more with no sign of being cleaned up. I have seen rodents of all sort that is likely due to the improper disposal of trash and boxes of inventory that is stored improperly. Inventory is stocked in boxes on the floor and because of the rodents I’ve decided to no longer shop there until the problem is rectified. I do, however, have to pass the Family Dollar 10677 every time I leave and return to my home.

Suggested solution:

Clean and maintain the Family Dollar 10677 as soon as possible. Request for routine rodent and pest control services. Request the employees, Family Dollar, City to minimize the illegal trespassing and hanging out on the property. Request that the City and employees clean the grounds and remove trash of the property weekly or as needed. Ensure that the grass and bushes are manicured every 2 weeks.
