My complaint:

My family and I have been shopping at this store every week for seven years. Today, my children were accused of stealing. When I asked the manager what my child stole, the manager said that the worker says my child was looking at DVDs and then ran off. My child clearly had nothing in his pockets and nothing hidden on his body. The manager said that maybe he laid it down. I asked her to show me where this supposedly stolen item was and she said she didn’t know. I walked up both isles my children had been in and there was no dvd. Having an item in your hand does not make you a thief. I have refrained from making several complaints on this store for a while now. They have lost business from several people because they tell inappropriate jokes and swear in front of customers. Had my child done something wrong, I would have corrected him and there would have been no problem. However, for two women to stand there and have my children in tears when they have done nothing wrong is unacceptable. The worker that states that my children were stealing then goes behind the register to ring other customers up while she continues to mumble about my children. Also unacceptable. As my children and I left the store, she very sarcastically says “have a nice day” in front of several other customers. I have tried multiple times to contact your office by phone with no result. This store has had nothing but problem employees for a while now and I have heard multiple people complain about the customer service. I simply asked for proof or reasonable cause to accuse my child of stealing and they could not provide that evidence.

Hire decent employees that know customer service
