Complaint: Rude dismissive assistant and store mgr. Over questions about an item I purchased that was defective.

My complaint:

I stopped in to only speak with someone about stove eye covers I purchased and they were so warped that will not lie flat on stove top and first the assistant David told me with no receipt I could do nothing to recieve any kind of satisfaction, he was rude and whole I was speaking said Bye Bye I then walked back and picked up a set of same item and walked back to front thinking he didn’t understand the issue only to find the store mgr Amanda now there and I politely with a third employee as witness to the entire thing, and after showing Amanda the issue she told me that she couldn’t be certain that they were in this shape when I purchased them, I then explained these aren’t

Rest of complaint; these are from the shelve just now and also worthless, she then told me without my receipt I would recieve no satisfaction. She couldn't and wouldn't be able to wavy store policy. Then she dismissed me without any attempt to help me have anything to show for my money! Just, No!
I expect both members of mgmt. To be taught to deal with customers with respect and lying is never okay, and to tell them they are just out the money spent with Family Dollar. I'm not certain I'll spend another dollar there if that's the way the company feels about the customer after I only wanted to exchange for same item and was told, it was too bad that I had no recourse. I've mgd many years and have never dreamed of dealing with anyone like this. It was a terrible look for the face of Family Dollar and neither are mgmt material and should be in the position to deal with problems if they can't act like they understand they are representatives of the company and to try to ridicule and dismiss customers with no resolution except the ' I have spoken' mentality. Until I hear they have been dealt with I won't shop at the FD or the DT and i am well known at DT sure to the amounts spent there for the company I represent and co own.
