My complaint:
My fiancee’ purchased 2 packages of rice and when we opened the first one it had bugs in it so upon returning it we were told since we did not have the receipt there was nothing that they could and or would do about it. We have the record of the transaction at the bank, but we were told it does not matter. Also, this was roughly 3 weeks ago before it was on the news about Family Dollars current televised rodent infestation in one of their distribution centers in Arkansas.
Suggested solution:
Financially, We had to pay for the goods to begin with and only God knows how sick we could have been if we would have not seen the bugs.
