My complaint:
I went to the family dollar this morning at 8:58 the opening store hour is 9am. Myself and 3 separate customers sat outside until 9:14. One gentleman went up and pulled on the door. I called the local store where it told me they were assisting other customers although I don’t see how that could be seeing as how no one was there. Lights were still off. I then called corporate where I sat on a silent hold and then decided to find other means. One lady was standing outside bc she had obviously walked and I’m sure she didn’t want to walk bk to where she’d came and then walk bk to the store again. Family Dollar lost at least 3 customers between 9 9:15 this morning if not more after I drove off and assuming the lady tht walked stayed and waited.
Suggested solution:
Have a responsible person open the store or always have someone on backup.
