My complaint:
An interaction between a customer and the cashier I was next to was side-eying me using derogatory terms in front of my kid. I never felt so insulted after walking in 100° heat. Whoever you are cashier I hope you have the worst day of your life I hope you have your car broke down and I absolutely have to say your AC should be dismantled. I almost felt attacked and felt a sense of racism given it’s usually the other way around but I’m not that person. I’m sure there are worse people but I felt like I was attacked for not just my race but just because I was just a customer trying to get dinner for me and my kid and go home take a shower and carry on for the next day. For this location there is a liquor store right next door.
Suggested solution:
Get rid of the employer who wants to play the race card on top of using derogatory terms she knew what she was talking about as well as that customer who made the initial statement.
