My complaint:

I was in Abbeville SC store at 2:40 pm today (Nov 1). Came straight in store, went to isle that Item I was looking for was on, got item from shelf and went straight to cashier. She (Jayy on name tag) rang up told me amount. As I was getting out the cash her cell phone rang and she immediately answered and started a conversation. I got out my money. she just held out her hand while still talking on her phone, she handed me my change and still continued her conversation. She NEVER spoke to me after her phone rang. There was NO THANK YOU for shopping, HAVE A GOOD DAY NOR ANYTHING..because she was still on the phone when i grabbed my bag off the counter and walked out the door. when I got in my car I immediately called the store only to get a recording that all associates were busy with other customers and to call back later. I have tried the call 3 more times with the same answer. Now if store was really busy I might understand getting recording but there were only a couple of customers in store and cashier was on her cell phone This is totally unacceptable customer service and even though the store is about a block from my house I will not shop there again. I will drive across town to Dollar General where I have never experienced this type of customer service. I am complaining because if it was done to me it will be done to others and I can’t see anyone being happy with that kind of customer service. MY RECEIPT NUMBER UNDER BAR CODE IS 990327701776301856673…..THE STORE 03277………This was RUDE of the employee and should not be allowed to happen again

Suggested solution:

no worker should be allowed to carry the personal cell phone around store with them and especially not answer it while waiting on a customer, either help top find times nor running register.
