My complaint:
I went to Family Dollar on 10818 to purchase toothpaste. I was checking out and the lady informed me that it was 5.10 for the 3pk toothpaste. I informed her that the label says $4. She said the system is changing over and that is the price. SO I told her that they need to change the label because I am purchasing the toothpaste based on the amount of money I have. She tried to give me change ($1.20) but could not because she did not have it in her draw. THE manager came over and said that is the price so take it or leave it. I said well I want my 1.20 change back. She told me no, that I come in that store all the time and I should know how it is, and it’s just 1.20. I told her it’s my 1.20 not her, not the store. She told the cashier to push me aside and take the other customer – I had already paid her and just wanted my change back. I was very upset and irritated. that she did this. I told her, as a manager she should know how to treat customers and that I don’t feel she values her job. SHE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED from WORKING with the PUBLIC.. THIS is not the first time I have encountered her treating the customers in a non professional manner. I have my receipt and I took a picture of the price and showed them as I told them the price said $4. THIS store is located literally one block from my house and I refused to continue to give my money to a place that doesn’t know how to respect people. I will no longer shop there because there are many other stores in the area. I would like my money back, because in the end ITS my money.

Suggested solution:
Change out manageror send her to customer service training. AS long as she is there I will no longer shop there and I will make sure I let everyone know about that store.
