My complaint:
On saturday 262021 at about 11:30 and between noon I walked to register 1 with a 9 yr old ….. I came to my local family dollar with my 9 year old. I purchased a game stop gift card and a birthday card and a pecan wheel . The cashier who rung me up was great but the total was $6.47 . I said can I have $25 On the game stop card she called for a manager because she didn’t know how. Here comes a young lady telling the cashier family dollar does not load money on a card. I say it’s not loading money on the card it’s a gift card she then tells the cashier to void my order because family dollar don’t load cards. Here comes the store manager before the store manager can speak the rude associate who is not ringing says to me I told you we don’t load money then I snap I’m not trying to load money let the manager help your stocking not cashiering and your rude I’m not loading money I’m buying a gift card . She steps to me in a aggressive manner and says I wasn’t fucking to you I’m taking to my boss!! The store manager says stop all she gone do is call in a complaint!!!! Such a sad sad day ! As a store manager this was reckless irresponsible and I felt threatened ok have received a police report and will have my lawyers reach out to someone at family dollar CEO.
