My complaint:
I entered the store with my 72-year old mother who walks with a limp so I don’t think I appeared to be a shoplifter. My mother smelled a bottle of honey which got on her hands. There was a pack of tissue laying there so I opened it and reached a roll to her to wipe her hand. An employee with his hands sagging very quickly came over and picked up the roll of tissue and told me
“Bro. You know you can’t open anything in the store. Just leave!”
I told him I would pay for the pack of tissue but insisted that I leave and said he was too tired to deal with an altercation about tissue.
I told him I would pay for it but he became mad and walked off with the pack of toilet paper like a kid.
Suggested solution:
Terminate employment for not appreciating an employment opportunity with Family Dollar, aggressiveness to customers, complaining about being tired on the job to a customer...all while having his pants sagging and making your company look very bad.
I already called and spoke to a manager.
