My complaint:

Hi, I was at the self service check out today at approximately 12:45pm money off voucher would not scan through resulted in a bit of a wait with two girls trying to fix the machine and I had very impatient child I had to keep running out after….that was fine the girls were very helpful and resolved the problem as quick as they could.

However the security guard (small man 5 foot or less) decided to come down to the self service checkout and stand over the entire situation and it looked to other customers as if there was an issue with me shoplifting it was very embarrassing. It’s not the first time this security has followed me around. He also harassed me during restrictions even though I had previously provided him with a GP letter to say I was exempt from wearing masks. He would follow me every week and ask why I don’t have a mask on until one week I asked for his number and he apologised. I’m sick of being followed by him and having him stare at since the first lockdown it makes me very uncomfortable. I’m a healthcare assistant myself I do all my shopping and a lot of my clients shopping in Dunnes stores however if he continues harassing me I’ll have to shop at Tesco coonagh in future.

Suggested solution:

Address security guards bullying behaviour
