My complaint:

On 10thDecember 2019 about 2-3pm arrival , then gone through passport
e-reader checking did not gone though the gate, where I believed at the time that my passport might not place correctly on the square of the machine. Then I was leaded to another counter where to get my passport scan in person by officer. The officer scanned my passport to his satisfactory at the point of returning to me, he asked Do I speak English? as he saw I don’t have a typical fair skin blue eyes…

Justified complaint?

Suggested solution:

This is an unnecessary gesture if it was handle by a professionally trained immigration officers (who would know what he would be looking for in case of unlawfully entrance etc) instead of by members of the Garda who might not have the level of knowledges especially in this case would misuse his power to detain or bullyembarrass the international passenger or tourist where in which the Irish State most needed in the tourism industry at all time!
