My complaint:
I would like to file a formal complaint against the manager Dan at the Hillsboro Domino’s location on Cornell Road. I placed an order last night for 2 medium pizzas and was charged over $40 (including delivery and tip). Each pizza was around $14 and $16 (pepperoni on both one had mushrooms on half). I noticed there was a special for 2 for $5.99. I called today and asked why I was charged so much and spoke with Jolene. She understands customer service and offered me a solution that we both agreed was fair (a credit on my account). I thanked her for her quick satisfactory solution. Just a few moments ago I called to place an order (approximately 5pm) and spoke with an employee and placed an order. I tried to order tomatoes on the side and he said they are not doing that and I asked why and he didn’t know. He placed me on a brief hold and then said, “because of the pandemic.” That didn’t make any sense to me so I asked for a rational and he put me on hold again and when he came back on the line. He said the same thing and that they are just not doing it. I asked to speak to a manager. A man came on the phone and I asked for the reason and he sighed and said we’re just not doing it, we are not giving out napkins or anything either. As a health care provider, that doesn’t make any sense to me in how it relates to the pandemic because the delivery is contactless. And putting a toping on the side is irrelevant to virus transmission. So I asked him again for the reason and he said in a very irritated tone, “I’m not explaining it.” I said, “Wow! You are rude! What is your name?” He then hung up on me! I have NEVER had someone who is employed in customer service treat me so blatantly rude! Furthermore, I cannot believe he is in management! You have lost a customer! I should have a credit on my account which amounts to approximately $25, the right way to rectify this situation would be to send me a check for $25 and to put this “manager” on disciplinary action. Unbelievable! I would like someone to get back to me please. I am still stunned that someone would speak to me that way!
