My complaint:
My name is Esmeralda Araujo and I’m an employee at Dominos 2784 in Berwyn Illinois 60402. I have been an employee there for two years and recently a manager named Ted Ronan physically touched me as he bumped my shoulder and claimed it was an “accident.” The supervisor, Jorge Legaspe, was there and claimed that he couldn’t do anything because he didn’t see it and made it seem as if I was lying. Ted Ronan has been verbally harassing me for a couple of weeks and I haven’t been the only victim. He has also hit another Hispanic female, who was a minor at the time, a while back and was demoted when he should’ve been fired but yet again he is a manager in charge. I was forced to leave my job because the work environment is unsafe and hostile and I don’t not feel safe when Ted is around. The general manager, Guadalupe Reyes, and the supervisor, Jorge Legaspe, seem to be protecting him as he never receives any consequences even when they are there and witness the harassment. He sleeps in the back locker room and I am also aware that his green card has been expired. This behavior is unacceptable and something needs to be done to protect the young female employees that work there.
Suggested solution:
Fire Ted Ronan immediately
