My complaint:
Pizza ordered through website and requested contactless
Delivered but the the delivery driver literally stood in front of our door until it was opened. He did not read the instructions of delivery. After awkward and unwanted exchange opened pizza box to find a pizza cold, burnt, and inedible. I tried one from the middle to see if it was salvageable. It wasn’t just burnt, it was unsafe to eat.
Called to store to get the situation resolved. Asked for the manager and the person over the phone claimed to be the manager. I told him I would like to file a complaint and needed a name for reference. he refused to give his name and continued to badger me for the problem and literally told me that he needed to first hear the complaint to see if it was anything worthy of filing a complaint to the dominos headquarters.
After sharing the above complaint, he said, well I’ll just make you another pizza then. I said I’m not looking for just another pizza, I’m looking to file a complaint as well at which point, he hung up the phone.
Since the pizza is inedible and the attempt to resolve the problem was terminated from the stores end, along with escalation of the problem from the angry customer service agentstore manager, I feel it necessary to now call my bank to dispute the charges that occurred for this purchase. A great way to spend my Saturday night!
Suggested solution:
They should have simply given me a name, apologized for knowingly sending me a product that was clearly inedible (by sight, smell, and touch), and rectified the problem by sending me another pizza and offering to comp the cost.
I would have said no problem, keep the money, send me another pizza.
