My complaint:
The lines had more than seven customers in each line, with full baskets. There were only two registers open. I asked the cashier to call their manager out. She did in Spanish, yelling out Mario, he opened ther door said something in Spanish, then closed the door. I asked, is he coming out? She replied I don’t know. I waited about 3 more minutes. The line still unrelenting. I then knocked on the mgrs office door. He replied yes, I told him the lines were long and if it were possible to open another register. He replied harshly he’s counting money and he’ll be out when he can.
I understand counting money, closing registers, making deposits, accounting for business. I worked both with a bank and as a mgr for KFC. So there was no reason he couldn’t suspend his count and provide customer service.
This dollar tree on LaBrea and Coliseum is continually busy and understaffed. They need to do better. Im sure they are losing business because of their long lines.
